Anime Expo Weekend

Hollywood Area

Beverly Center

High end fashion mall - lots of cuties walking around. Most girls are Asian, but the trendy and/or fobby kind. Your game needs to be tight, typically you need to be able to hook right away. Great place to warm up, especially if you want to get social before a club. Just watch your money - it's easy to overspend here on cool fashion. :)

Griffith Observatory
Has a great view of LA, and you can learn all kinds of things about the universe we live in together on your date.

Hollywood & Highlands

This is where it all began; the modern day pickup scene was born here. Upscale shopping, Kodak theater, Hollywood everywhere, nightclubs galore, and just a few blocks down, the famous "Mel's Diner" from The Game by Neil Strauss.

The Grove

Another great place to game or take a girlfriend to. Right next door is the famous 'Farmer's Market' - which is a great place to try all kinds of food. You can do some high end shopping here for clothes, go to the movies, open sets in the middle of the street (think Victoria Gardens in IE), or read some books at Barnes & Noble. Finally if you like Apple products, they have a very hip Mac store.

Downtown LA

K-Town (Koreatown) - very upscale; great nightlife, karaoke bars, Korean food, shopping.

Nokia Theater (LA Live Area) - another upscale place with lots of things to do around the area including some great restaurants.

USC (Campus Area & Theater) - Take your girl on a real movie date and walk around campus after enjoying the beautiful view.

Riverside/Inland Empire/Chino Hills

UCR Botanical Gardens - Feeling broke? Still want to impress your girl? Take her for a stroll in the gardens here -- this place is perfect for hand-holding, k-closing and just enjoying what nature has to offer.

Life Plaza in Rowland Heights - Perfect if you have an Asian girlfriend. You can drink boba together, play pool, hang out at the arcades, show off your cool car, have Chinese or Korean food -- and it's open way late into the morning!

Orange County/Long Beach

Long Beach Pike - Great place for the day. Check out the beach, go to the aquarium, get some sea-food, walk around the pier, enjoy clubbing at night. Tons of great spots for k-closing

Irvine Spectrum - Upscale location for shopping and dining. A popular spot is the Dave & Busters arcade and billiards area, as well as the Edwards Cinemas.
