Wednesday Night at The Falconer's Pub

Yesterday night went to the Falconer's Pub in Downtown Riverside.  Flex told me they were grand opening the Rumor's Lounge in there so we decided to check it out.  Both of us rolled in late; I had my P90x to do and I also wanted to eat/shower.  When I got there, the place was pretty dead.  I was like WTF it's 11... things should be popping by now.  Another thing I forgot to mention was that entry was free all night... so I guess maybe that's what kept people from coming earlier.

If I know anything about club crowds by now, everyone rolls in late.  I think it's because people are bouncing from club to club to see which ones are more crowded.  If there's a time limit as to when you can get in free by, people will be more likely to hurry themselves up and get to the final club.  If you're a free club all night... chances are people will wait -- they'll go to other clubs first then come to yours last.

That was exactly what happened in this case.  I met the manager of the Pub; he seemed like a genuinely cool guy.  He recruited me to help him promote the club; in exchange for promoting, I could get in free and get drinks for free too.  Sounds pretty cool.  So now I have a ton of flyers to pass out to college kids.

As far as the Pickup... well for the first part of the night, I just spent time getting to know people; I met other promoters, talked to bartenders, talked to some hired guns... I just kept social.

I met some cuties a little later, and I talked to one who was a hispanic babe, possibly an 8.  She seemed really into me at first, but then as we were talking, her boyfriend came over, so I made friends with him and the rest of his group.  I decided to keep talking to Hispanic, and we talked for a bit before the conversation went stale.  I think what happened was she felt herself getting into me and shut herself off automatically.  I felt this weird vibe transition as it did.  She introduced me to her friends and said I should hit on them, they are single. 

So I talked to her friends for a bit, but the friends were really hard to talk to.  This is something that I'm starting to encounter a lot in field and need help with -- girls that are silent.  Like you're talking a lot to them.. and for whatever reason they just don't say anything back besides a 'hm' or 'uh-huh'.  I was spidering like crazy trying to use fun threads - but nothing would hook.  So I didn't waste my time, I bounced out of set and went to meet other girls.

I opened another set of girls at the bar situationally about their drink.  I talked for a bit, before they became silent too.  They were fat though so I didn't waste my time.  I decided to look for the 'slut' in the room like Vince Kelvin says.

Sure enough, there was one.. so I talked to her for a bit.  She was fun actually and very pretty - Dancerchick.  She had a great body and was dressed very sexy.  Maybe an 8.5.  She told me she was from Barstow or some weird far off place so I teased her for living in the boondocks.  I told her, "isn't that where they filmed that movie, The Hills Have Eyes?"  She got a kick out of that.  I pushed her away from me a bit, and then told her I had to go.

So 10 minutes later from out of nowhere as I'm talking to another set, Dancerchick comes in and tries to jump me.  She tells me to dance with her.  I tell her I can't.  She insists, so we start dancing.  I feel awesome in my head but I don't let that out.  As we're dancing though, she starts getting harder core and grinding me.  I can't keep up.  My body is super sore from working out earlier.  She starts asking me what's wrong, so I tell her.  She says "WOW! You're a let down!"

???  I think.  She keeps trying to help me dance with her and for my part, I do a good job of keeping up, but finally she gets pissed and walks away.  I walk over to her and ask her what's up.  "Just leave me alone.."  She was pissed...  I guess she felt she had invested so much in me and I was a disappointment to her.  I told her again that I was sore from working out.. but she said "I don't wanna hear any excuses! Get the fuck outta here".

I just smile and tell her "alright", as if it was no big deal.  Flex rolls in around that time so I talk to him for a bit.  He's pissed because the girls he texted flaked on hi,

I felt a little weird about that girl getting mad.. I did make an effort to dance with her, and I even told her I was sore.. I guess she must have thought I was something more than what I really was. 

Flex and I walked around the bar for a while just checking out chicks.  We met a set of Hispanic girls, and I opened them by hitting them with light sticks -- love using props.  The cuter girl was hitting me back and playing a little with me, so I talked to her for a bit just asking where she was from and what she does.  She responded 'okay' to it, but she seemed to back off after a while.  I felt that set going silent, so I just threw out anything.  I even went back to teasing her with the glow sticks.  She took it and dropped it in her friend's boobs.  Then the friend dropped in her boobs.  I threw it in her boobs too.  It was funny.  I tried to get them to dance, but they wouldn't have it.  This set went dead after a bit, mainly due to the girls starting to get silent.   I was reading the 'Pandora's Box' by Vin DiCarlo earlier this week, and I remembered something about how many girls 'test' guys early on to see what they'll say or do, before investing anything.

In fact, some girls won't invest at all because they want to see how far they can make a guy keep 'gaming' them.  It's very 'validating' to them.. and they are NOT attracted to these guys at all.  I felt a red flag go up in my head.  These girls were enjoying me 'gaming' them, but didn't feel compelled to do anything back. 

How do you get around something like this?  It seems really annoying?  They won't move.  They won't get a drink.  They just want to be by themselves.  Flex for his part wasn't helping at all.  He just said 'wait'.  So I took a break and did other stuff.  Talked to promoter guy a bit more, danced with random people, had a drink - it was like $3.

Then I 'waited' with Flex.  We waited for a long time.. almost an hour or so of just standing around or making weak attempts to talk to chicks.  I was done.  I wanted out.  My game obviously sucked for the night and I wasn't going to get a close.  Flex kept saying 'wait', 'wait'.  He didn't do anything though.  Finally, the bar started closing, so I expected him to go to work.

Flex did a little.. he tried to hit on some girls and ask what their plans were for the night.  He tried to get numbers, but he didn't get any luck.  The girls I played glowsticks with told me they'd see me next time I came out.  I thought of closing - but I felt it wouldn't be a good number close.  Plus I also want to do escalations and get a kiss at least before I do a number close.  Then Dancerchick comes by and we start talking.  She's still mad, but I talk to her a little until she has to go.  Couldn't number close her either.  I didn't care too much for it. 

I went with Flex outside and we talked to people leaving.  The original hispanic girls I had talked to were having some sort of fight.  Hispanic chick was really angry and smoking -- cursing some other girl out.  Eww.  I don't want to be involved.

And that was it!  Flex didn't get anything so he just laughed and said "Fuck! I didn't get shit! LOL! BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME!"

FR - Escalating a 5 - Not My Cup of Tea

Yesterday I had a chance to score.  Well, this girl who I met at a club wanted to come by and hang out.  But, she wasn't attractive.  She was a 5 maybe.  I knew what was up though, she was DTF.  I actually was ready to go too... I felt like I'd rack up the experience.  But I guess when it came down to it, I felt gross.. I mean how can you get turned on by an UG?

Plus, she also was annoying.  Like stupid annoying.  Don't you hate it when like a girl goes on and on about random shit that you don't care about?  Especially when you're watching a movie together and all she can do is talk about ex boyfriend this, someone else who's a ho-bag that?  It's like FUCK.. just shut up and enjoy the moment here.  We had gone out to grab a movie from the grocery store and were watching it.. and it was actually pretty good... but she would not get the plot and keep acting retarded every few minutes asking me what the hell is going on.  Any 'attraction' I might have had for her was falling all by the way side.

Even still, it's not like I didn't try to get laid.  I actually was pushing for it.  To block her annoyingness - I tuned her out and acted really retarded myself.  Shit tests didn't even register in my brain.  She would ask me if I was retarded and I'd say yeah.  It'd lead to funny laughter.  If she found a scene in the movie that was boring, I'd pretend I was bored too and we'd talk for a couple seconds about something idiotic.

I sat next to her as the movie started, then I put my arm around her, then I pulled off, and asked her stuff about her life during the parts where she couldn't focus on the movie.  I did a lot of cold reading - and for the most part I was pretty dead on.  I dunno - hidden talent?  I read her as a person who is very frustrated with life, moves from one thing to another, tries for the most part hard to succeed but usually ends up quitting.  I think that really got her attention.  She was like wow, are you an X-men or something?  (Jk. She didnt' say quite that :P).

After doing serious cold read, I threw her off by saying stupid stuff that made no sense.  I threw in some disqualifiers too.. "I was like don't think you can get me, I'm not that easy to win over."  I also turned words she said into sexual stuff -- I was focused hard on staying in the moment so these things came faster to me.  She told me to play with myself at one point, when she made a comment about my video games and I asked her if she wanted to play with me.  So I accused her of being super dirty minded.  Then it led to pillow fights.

All this stuff led to making it easier to be all over her.  I was testing for compliance by putting my arm around her, then my hand on her leg, then massaging her back and poking her stomach.  I got in pretty close to her face, as we were talking - holding hard eye contact and staring at her lips.  We played thumb war, and this time I knew how to make it super sexual.  That whole female destructus vs male destructus thing -- there's something really cool about it; if you can use her own destructus to make her feel more frustrated -- it makes for huge sex tension.  I don't know how to really describe it, but in my case, I kept trying to fake her out with my thumb.  I kept telling her to look over behind her shoulder -- "there's a cat there! or what is that thing behind you?"  She tried hard to not fall for it, but even still she was so I got in a great position to kiss her.  As soon as I went for it, I felt gross thereafter.

I looked at her and I got in my head.  "My brain was like WTF are you doing... your ex was so much hotter".  I started suddenly thinking of my ex in that moment -- my real feelings started kicking in; even though I was pretending all that moment to be interested in this girl.

I tried to shut it out, but then I realized that this girl was pretty gross.  She was giggling and tried to hit me with the pillow again.  So I used that to take myself outta chode mode.  We played again but this time she didn't want to thumb war.  She was like -- "Focus on the movie!"  (As if it was my fault we couldn't watch it).

So we continued watching the movie, and every now and then I'd escalate a little.  I tried to create another opportunity to kiss her but I felt like my brain was holding me back.  Flex and I had met her one night at a club and I remembered Flex telling me that this girl was the 'gross' type; definitely not one to keep around for long.  For Flex to say something like that.. he sleeps with almost anything; I guess that was the kicker.  So I'd set all these opportunities up to kiss and not close thereafter.  If anything though, I started figuring out at the end how to open and close windows of opportunity.

I could see the window open -- she'd be slightly turned on for a few seconds, and I had like 3 seconds to kiss.  Then she'd say 'MOVIE' -- and that would be the window closing -- logic kicking back in.  It was a series of attractions and logics... just like that.  If I were to compare it to a game, it's like letting the princess get out of her cage for a few seconds only for a wicked witch to shut the door on the cage before the princess could get out.

Just in this case, she wasn't a princess... she was the wicked witch.  She even admitted that she was a wicked witch in some banter we did.  After the movie we looked at some photos and she wanted to know what I'd be doing this week.  I told her stuff but didn't really invite her.. then we ended up almost knocking out on the floor -- both of us were so tired.  I played with her stomach a little -- her body was like the only attractive part of her.   Then she decided she had to go -- the window shut again.  It was open for a bit, then shut.  It was like I was practicing and getting myself ready for handling LMR with a girl I really want to bang.  So that was a positive aspect to this night.

I walked her back to her car and it was raining.  She jumped right on me and asked me to carry her so she wouldn't step on snails.  I told her I was too sore haha.  Then it rained harder and she wanted to kiss again.  I just gave her a hug.  I was grossed out man... I even asked her at one point if she cleans her mouth.  She had been snacking on potato chips all night, and opened her mouth to show the crumbs.... fuckkkkkkkkkk grross!!  I pushed her into her car and walked away.  She kept asking when we'd hang out again... but I was like "that's all you get" :)

Thoughts
=========

- I guess if I'm going to have a lay, it has to be with a 7 or higher. Otherwise I get into my head wayy too much.  You just don't feel good afterwards.

- After being in a lot of sets -- I'm starting to really find the smart, independent, feministic girls way more attractive.  They actually are quite a challenge cause the frame battles we have are much harder but more fun and intellectual.  I always feel my wit gets better with harder sets.

- Girls who are stupid are just annoying -- especially the ones who don't care about doing well in life and just wanna be ghetto forever.

- Thankfully, I'll probably be getting some D2s with some hotter girls soon.  I just was thinking I could practice on this girl before those sets came... but I think I got all the practice I want with this girl.

FR - Cloud Vs The CameraGirl 4-20-10

Sup! I haven't written FRs lately.  It's been a while.  I've been putting a lot of time into my work-out lately.  I started doing the P90x program by BeachBody.  I gotta say it's really fun.  It's definitely hard, but I enjoy it thoughroughly.  Hopefully in 90 days; (this is my 10th day) I look really good.  I just need to be a little stricter on diet -- there's a meal plan that was included in the program that I need to follow more to the T.

This post is called Cloud vs the CameraGirl, because I've been involved in film production lately, and one of the main reasons for going is -- female art majors are pretty hot (plus, I wanna have a sexier life).  My friend, let's call him Han, is directing this movie about an Asian interracial couple and asked me if I could do a few scenes in it, plus help out with any backstage work -- he is a bit underhanded. So, of course I agreed.  It makes for awesome storytelling later.

I met CG (CameraGirl) while we were shooting a scene for one of the other actors.  Instantly, I had a feeling that she was attracted to me. (When you go out a lot -- you just start knowing what this sensation feels like).  She asked me who I was first and introduced herself to me.  I think what attracted her to me was my look I've been putting together plus just being a cool confident guy.   I've been wearing more button down shirts and mixing colors - black & pink, brown & blue, red & white.  I also wore a cool red hat one day which she complimented on set and tried to wear herself.  Oh yeah, and she saw my watch -- I have my P90x fitness watch that can measure heart rate.  So that was a good conversation piece.  Actually, now that I think of it; that was opened her to me.  She made a situational remark on that watch and asked me if I was working out.  It made for a good segue into talking about my 90 challenge.

After our introductions, she was pretty flirty with me throughout the filming.  She would give me sexy glances as we shot scenes between her camera work.  Here's where it got sort of awkward for me.

I knew it was on, but I wasn't at a club.  I wasn't at a bar.  I wasn't at a crazy college party.  I was on set - in a professional setting working with Han.  I wasn't sure how to escalate in that kind of setting -- all I could think about was isolate and escalate.  That was easier said than done.

In a crew, everyone's together for the majority of the time.  I remember Han being pretty hardcore about keeping to time and since CG is the main camera woman, I couldn't really keep her from doing her job.  So I just kept social.  I made sure she saw me talking to other girls on set.  I made friends with the guys too.  CG had a guy friend (who wasn't her boyfriend - just a LJBF guy) who knew everything about her -- they've been friends for years, so he would often tell me funny stuff.. The guy was cool himself, and also directs -- he asked me to star in a film he's working on, so I guess I'll see where that goes.  Maybe someday I'll be famous.

The first day we were together, I didn't get to talk to her for more than 10-15 min.  But she remembered me well enough to Facebook request me the next day.  She also asked me when I'd come out again.  So I told her possibly the next day of the shoot.  I told her I'd also bought a new camera and would show it to her.

However, I didn't get to see her the next day of the shoot -- Han was running a tight schedule and said that he didn't need any extra hands at the moment.  So I had to back off.  He told me to come out on Monday and Tuesday though.  When I came on Monday, CG asked me why I didn't come out the day before..  (I was like oooohhhh love the investment).

So I talked to her a little more and she complimented my red hat that I brought with me.  She wore it.  We had some more 'playful touch' going on.  We also talked some comfort stuff -- I didn't go out of my way to overly try to impress her and I didn't try super hard to game her.  I didn't want to look 'needy'.  I would be a little ADD with her and then go talk to another girl.  Sometimes I felt that rubbed her a little the wrong way.  But I just stayed grounded.  I mean I like her too, but most of the other art major girls are cute too -- and I didn't want to miss any opportunities with them.  As a result, my interactions with CG were again about 10-15 min, 20 min at most.  I also didn't get her number, but at the end of the night I just mentioned hanging out on the weekend.  She seemed down for the idea but she had filming to do on the day I asked her.  We talked more about working out then Han wrapped it up and we had to go.

I felt a little weird for not asking her for her number.  But I already have her on Facebook, so I wasn't thinking about getting her number -- I was actually thinking about how to solid close her -- like pull her to the side and kiss her.  I knew that's what she really wanted from me -- she wanted to see if I was socially smart enough to figure out how to pull it off.

That was my big challenge.. how the hell would I do it?  I called some of my PUA friends but everyone was out.  So I just read online.  I remembered something from RSD about how if you like a girl in a social circle, you should have your main friend hook you up.  The reasoning is that the friend is usually the most social proofed so therefore if you fuck up, he can still make things alright for you and the group -- provided you have a good relationship with him.  If you try to go it alone and fuck up, you lose A LOT of value, get labeled as creepy and worse, get kicked out of the group.  Even if you were a cool guy to begin with, the girl in the group has been there longer.. and when it boils down to a 'he said she said' syndrome... most often everyone listens to the girl because she has higher social proof than you.

So I decided to tell Han directly that I liked CG.  That was a fun conversation.  He thought it was pretty random I'd tell him that but he said he'd support me.  (Thanks! That was all I really wanted anyway).  He said he wouldn't cockblock, which was something I thought he might have been doing earlier.  :)  I guess it's like the same as selecting a target and telling your wingman to back you up in a club setting.

Tuesday night, I was super game on.  We had some scenes where we were at a house party and had to 'dance'.  I couldn't dance with CG of course, she was filming.  But I did get my dance on with other girls there.  I can't dance for crap.. but I can at least look kind of cool when I dance -- that's something I've learned over gaming for a while. I also know how to pull girls into me now.  So I was totally using that to my advantage.

In fact, I think I learned some more technique for dance game last night.  One girl I was talking to was a pro dancer.  She was part of Han's dance team, and thought I was pretty good (because I acted that way).  I quickly dismissed that idea -- I always downplay when someone thinks I'm good -- so I don't look like a braggart.  But I also don't go out of my way to super downplay -- I try to leave them with the imagination that I might actually be good and just 'downplaying' it as a pretense.. it's a great trick.    I think I attracted this girl because I was just having a fun time and busting out random stuff without being scared about what others thought of me.

She would correct my moves every now and then but she really liked my vibe.  I danced with some more girls who were really into me too, but I wasn't that into them.  The pro dancer girl was a bit on the heavy side, and her friends were also a bit round.  Pro dancer girl also wanted me to be more sexual with her -- and I had to push her off a couple times.  The only girl who was pretty hot was a girl who already had a boyfriend on the dance floor.  Her and this Korean girl who was going around doing scene transitions with the movie slate.

I talked to Korean girl who was REALLY hard to game.  She ignored me a lot in the beginning, until I straight out asked her if she cooked.  She looked really offended by it, but I softened it by saying I was really hungry and honestly wanted to know.  She said she didn't know how to cook.  So then I told her later that I'd cook for her if she wanted.  Again it was kinda funny how she took that.. but I think at that point she got a little lovestruck by my balsy-ness.  We ended up talking about our favorite songs and singing a bit before logic kicked back in and she went to doing her job.  For a Korean girl, she was super hot.  She had a huge rack.  Plus great lips.  I was like WOW.  My TYPE.  She is a work in progress at the moment.

Went back to CG, had a few moments with her where we talked for a bit, then I'd run some routines.  I cold read her as a person who was pretty conservative -- which she tried to dismiss off as she was really really bad.  So I tried to run Vince Kelvin stuff - like get her to tell me how adventurous she was.  Whenever it got too sexy - I'd sense her logic side suddenly turn on and turn off her sexy side -- it was almost like she could control her BT if it went too high.  She obviously didn't feel comfortable in the setting.  But she wasn't turned off by me either... if anything she was 'sexually frustrated'.  I let her ease the tension by playing thumb wars with me.  MANNNN.. she almost broke my thumb off.   We ended up thumb warring each other all night.. and it was great.  I would use mental jedi tricks to throw her off and 'win' which would get her even more agitated.  She really wanted to beat me.  At the end of the night we sort of cuddled up to each other while waiting for the crew to get organized.  She had her head on my shoulder which I rewarded with my arm around her.  We played some footsy too.

I tried to set up a D2 again.. brought up karaoke Saturday, but I don't know if she can make it... she is really involved in the film every night, so I don't know if she has any off nights.  I'm also going to be out of the filming this week, as Han doesn't need me in any scenes.  I think my best bet is to take her out during the daytime when she's at work at UCR.  I'll have lunch with her.  I know she wants me to set something up.  We'll see where it goes...

Thoughts
========

- I think I'm doing a lot better at natural gaming.  In general, I think from the past two or three weeks, I've done a good job of staying social and making a lot of friends.  My Facebook friend count is like up to 507 now.

- I storytell better and have things to talk about.  P90x is a great conversation piece because everyone wants to get in shape - and so if you're able to pull it off, people automatically respect you.  I can't wait til I finish; it'll be the sexiest DHV I have.

- I need to focus more on being in the moment when I'm with girls.  I've been doing this a lot, and it's REALLY helpful.  I notice a lot more situational stuff and can improv on it pretty easily.  My improv powers are going up too... I do random stuff like get girls to sing songs with me, or talk about favorite foods, music, play a mnemonic game with me, etc.  Yesterday I did some magic trick on a girl and she really liked it.  I want to learn more fun magic tricks that are easy to do.  But I also want to be in the moment more when I'm with my target girl.. like when she had her head on my shoulder, I should have thought to kiss her on her neck or cheek in that moment -- but I didn't... only now I kinda realize damn.. shoulda done that -- it would have been gangsta.

- Gotta push myself to be sexier... this week is clothes week.  Gotta get some more fitted clothes for the parties this weekend, and I have to stay on top of P90x.  Also will practice more improv.  I think there's a Vince Kelvin session with CC this weekend, so I might go to that if I have money/time.  Both are sorta issues right now...

Weird Approach at Extension Center

I saw a girl sitting by herself waiting to be picked up.  Haha that's funny how that sounds... she was waiting to be picked up by her host parents.  I went to talk to her asking if she was someone I knew.  She froze.  She looked really weird at me, like trying to not answer my question.  I asked her again.  She still fought back to say anything.  She started looking the other way.  Almost as if I was a beggar.  I was pretty crappily dressed though -- I had sandals and wearing really ugly shorts and a shirt.  My hair was in a ponytail.  (I had been working out).

So I backed off, then I just tried to introduce myself at this point.  I gave out my hand and she didn't want to shake it.  She still didn't talk to me -- just kept looking scared and trying to look away.  I asked her if she spoke English... a couple times which she got mad.  Then she said 'what'?  So I tried to ask her another question, but she refused to answer.  Really weird... as far as my sets have been - I've never seen a girl get so scared and in her head.  She was pretty - but I guess she wasn't used to being hit on.  So after being a bit unsuccessful, I walked away - I apologized for interrupting her and went on my way.

I got to my car and noticed she was looking back my way... but I was like meh.. that was enough of a blowout for me.

It feels weird to see a girl that creeped out.  I don't think it's NEVER not happened to me before, but it's extremely rare.  I'm keeping my ego in check though -- glad I had a blowout because if I don't get used to it, my ego will get too inflated.  I'm also keeping my mind active -- I have some good IOIs from girls I met last week - one wants to hang out tomorrow.  Hope I can up her sexual interest - she does seem pretty sexy to me.  I need an f-close so I can keep up with my crazy PUA pals.  Let's see if Cloud can work his magic!

Sorting Out Past Week; Thoughts On Getting Investment 4-12-10

Whatup! It's been a couple days since I last wrote; possibly a week.  Took some time away from the keyboard to observe in the field and lay foundation to be more socially proofed.

Something that I took note of earlier this year was that I don't really have a 'life' outside of 'game' that I can talk about to girls.  Everything is sort of half-assed.  As a result, when I talk to girls about my life, I find I run out of things to say very quickly.  Many topics land in uber fail.  I'll give you an example.  The other day, I was talking to a girl about how I 'blog'.

HBTarget: "So what do you do for a living?"
Cloud: "Lol.. I'm a professional con-artist"
HBT: "Oh, okay.. whatever I'm done talking to you"
Cloud: "Haha, so am I .. just kidding I'm a writer"
HBT: "Oh really, what kind of writing do you do?"
Cloud: "Um.. (shit, I can't talk about my PUA blog.. and I have a workout blog.. but I haven't really made progress yet.. so can't talk about that)... haha I blog online."
HBT: "Oh, so what kind of blog do you have?"
Cloud: "I have a personal blog, I'm kinda into fashion..what about you.. (tries to change topic)"
HBT: "Oh, well let me see it.."
Cloud: "Um, well no it's not done yet.."
HBT: "Oh okay whatever.."
Cloud: "Yeah, so uh.. who lies more, men or women?"

This happened to me on several occassions.  Another time, I was talking to a Japanese girl and we were really speaking Japanese.  At first I was super confident, going through regular conversation .. until she decided to be super hardcore fluent, and I started falling apart.  I changed the conversation to English.. which made things a bit awkward.  She kept speaking Japanese at fluent level, and I responded with English.  Finally, I felt she felt my nervous vibe and she backed off.  It was hard to get her to talk afterwards because she didn't have that same initial attraction anymore.

One other time, I mentioned I was working out.. but I'm still fat, so I couldn't really show off anything.  That conversation ended in fail, too.

Now don't get me wrong, I know I can balance a lot of these threads with humor.  I could say I'm a writer and be mysterious and probably keep attraction.  Or say I work out and then show her the flab.  That would be funny.  But, I feel like once the humor wears off, and she really gets to know me down the line... I'm not worth investing in, because I'm doing all these 'things' but not really being serious about it.

I was thinking about some things I bring up that I should push myself to be better at when in natural flow conversation:

- Good writer/communicator.  I learned that when I introduce myself as a 'writer' to people at parties, it comes off sexy.  'Marketing manager' comes off too technical.  I end up in a frame of explaining way too many buzz words and techn terms that go over people's heads.  So writing is much better.  But I need stuff to show that isn't pickup related.

- Drawing and photo taking.  I sometimes defer people to my Facebook - I take a ton of photos and put it up so people can  see them.  But I don't do it enough.  I should bring it back, so I can talk about stuff I've done.

- I have my workout blog.  I just need to workout.  Then I can show people in 90 days my accomplishments - (doing the P90x program).

- Japanese ability.  I sort of took a break, and losing a little ability now... I should push myself to achieve fluency.  I'll study for JLPT Level 1 (the highest level) this year.  That way when I converse with natives, it's not so broken.

- General knowledge.  If I'm gaming some girls from other countries, ie. Viet, Korean, the least I can do is know basic stuff about their capital, food, expressions... so I don't come off a complete dumbass.  I met a Korean cutie this week who got mad at me because I didn't seem like I cared enough about her culture.  It was the same with two girls from Vietnamese Student Union (VSA) who isolated me from their group after I couldn't really pronounce their names or show I had any knowledge about Vietnam.

- Kissing & Sexualizing ability.  This is half-assed too.  I was thinking the other day I should get some more closes even if it's with 6 or 7s.  I need to just experience these things so I can better handle LMR when it really matters with an 8, 9 or 10.   Girls don't like half-assed sex.

- Fun/Humor.  I am pretty good at humor, but not that great.  Maybe I can practice by pushing myself to improv in sets.  Use improv based routines and stack with photo taking to keep it fun.  Fun is something I really need to work on in order to keep from being creepy.  I get a lot in my head when I'm on the spot.. but this is something I have to get good at... my competition is fierce in this area.

A lot of my competition can emit REALLY good fun vibes.  Some talk SHIT to girls, but it never comes off like they're really serious - just funny.

When I was hanging out with VSA this weekend, there were some really cool dudes who could get the crowds to sing songs with them (even if it was embarrasing) or dance, because they didn't seem half-assed about it.  They demonstrated a fun vibe with confidence, and made it easy for others to learn quickly too.

I don't expect myself to get good overnight at any of these things.  But I think focusing on doing these things better will get me better results.  When I talk about things I do in a natural flow conversation, I want the other person to feel the same excitement I have.  They'll see how invested I am in my 'own' world, and hopefully they'll want to be invested too.  I think right now because I'm just dabbling in stuff, it comes off like I'm not that invested myself and rubs other people who may be more invested the wrong way.  This kind of leads to being excluded from groups - especially in social circle game.  If you're someone just there to hit on the girls, people know right away; they too want to get the same girls, but they at least are more invested in what the group is about - so they have better social proof and are more desirable than someone who doesn't show they care.

Hope this all isn't too deep and confusing for you guys who are reading. I'm sure you get the main point - be more invested in the things you do, so that when you talk about it to others you emit a vibe that is worth investing in for someone else.  If you want to roll 'natural', you have to be able to convince the other in an emotional way that your lifestyle is fun and not half-assed.  If you have a life worth investing in, you're the most attractive guy in the group.

Update on Party

Flex told me later that he didn't get the girl.. it wasn't going the way it seemed; she initially liked him too, but she just wanted a ride home and nothing else.  Flex didn't get a makeout or anything either.  He was trying...  

I think I need to take it easier.. I felt really competitive in that moment that night so that's why the last post was pretty chody.  Even I realize it later now.. man I got really frustrated - and what's the #1 advice?  "Don't get Frustrated! Frustrated = AFC"  If I look at that night again in a positive light, I actually did EXTREMELY well - I didn't get makeouts or sex but I did get # closes and facebooks - so I do have potential Day2s with these girls.

A quote my sales friend from work once told me comes to mind...

Sometimes you're just too caught up in the moment trying to 'game' that you lose sight of everything else... I need to stop beating myself up when I don't close.  I want to be a hardcore closer - because it forces me to be better fast... and I like the pressure.. but after it all I gotta laugh it off... being too pressurized on oneself is really bad for state overall.  Getting blown out and losing the girl really sucks especially when you have an ego... I was thinking how the fuck did these other guys get the girls I wanted without game? (These guys actually do have game - its just my out of control ego saying that). But when I think about it.. whether they got the girl or not shouldn't matter... what should matter is will those setbacks break me?  Or am I stronger than all this..?

If I'm strong - mentally strong - HELL can do anything and everything to me... but I'll always be able to walk away unharmed with a smile on my face.  I have to be the light in the darkness - a bit spiritual, but I think it's a good lesson.  If I go dark too... I join the many who already lost faith... light is hope for others and I am sorta the hope for myself and my friends on this adventure.  So the point is to not get setback - don't be frustrated :) Have fun and always try to think how you can make it work?

Problems I had last night...

- Attracted early but couldn't keep any girls longer than 10 min - they would go away after two or three 'games'/routines.

- Got cockblocked a lot by friends and other guys - it was super competitive.

- Didn't have much to talk about over time.. ran out of stuff to say because she wouldn't open up about herself

- Messed up the icebreakers... with the memory game I forgot first so ended up taking a shot and the girl leaving.  The other game, the girl was so drunk she didn't make sense and her friends noticed her getting too close and pulled away.  Frustrating.

- Other guys, 'naturals' didn't talk but they got girls right away... Flex got the girl I wanted in under a minute and took her home! WTF - Ego crush  (MORE FRUSTRATING).

- Had a chance to kiss girl, was on couch and let me draw on her.. was looking at lips but hesitated and her friend took her away

- Didn't open every girl.. had some AA

- Finally had a lot of inner game issues - every time a girl would go to the bathroom on me, I'd feel worse and struggle to reopen her.. I could feel the vibe of her trying to get away and it was killing my confidence too.

Things I did well

- Practiced icebreakers from below - very helpful in keeping a girl a few more min.

- Went back and tried to conversate again and again with girls.. persistence.  Gotta work on doing that without feeling out of state.. instead way in good state (this is my real AA point).

- Was pretty sexual - reopened girls by slapping them on the ass or with a mop.  My intent was clearly there and was able to get in some crazy fun banter.. but the girls would keep running away more and more.

Thoughts

- The girl I wanted probably was raised into a sexual state because of me chasing her and maybe Flex was able to 'scoop' her like a vulture.

- I felt like my DHV set of who I am.. was a lot weaker than other guys there.  I couldn't storytell well, I kept giving up and choding out by couch, I didn't have fun stuff to talk about... WTF happened to me man??  I also wasn't buff or could dance well and my social proof was inferior to Swirl's.

- I need to storytell and spider threads a lot.. the Improv game of finishing each others' lines is really good for spidering - I need to be more ADD with it and cut threads/come back to the game later... getting too focused on any icebreaker game is a sign of neediness... and it won't help build attraction - start/finish later/start/break off... get her to keep wanting to continue the game..

- I think I should try kissing girls right after a few minutes of conversation (because it's balsy and I want to see the reaction.. this is something I don't plan to do long term unless it works super well in my favor... I just want to do it because I want to see if I can spike attraction with it thru the roof and I also want to build a routine out of it).  If nothing goes well, I'll kick back and do it a little slower... it's just for fun now, once I get some experiences from it, I can apply it to my normal speed game... for now I want to speed game a bit.

- Last night I felt so winded, I was ready to throw in the towel.  Especially when Flex got the girl without putting in the same amount of effort.  Why is it always so hard for me..?  I do my best to be creative and act on intent.. yet it's not attractive enough, whereas other guys who don't do shit can just come in and get massive attraction for the night.  The same girl who gave me tons of resistance gave none to Flex.  She was all over him.... why wasn't it me?

Cloud VS The Dinner Party 4-1-10

Went to Omega's house in Diamond Bar last nite for dinner.  He invited some friends including Chai, HBPregnant, HBHot, HBTall and her Japanese friends, HBOrange & HBShy.

It was a nice dinner, HBTall and co. went with Omega earlier to shop in Nijiya market to buy ingredients so we could eat 'Shabu Shabu'.  It was really delicious.

During dinner, I tried to make conversation with HBOrange & HBShy.  Orange was more talkative.. she knew English, but wasn't comfortable, so I spoke Japanese mostly.  It was a DHV to HBHot, who you may remember from last time was Syfy's ex.  I got a little bit of banter with HBHot out of it as well.  Shy was the hardest to talk to but the most attracted.  I'm finally figuring this stuff out.  She would look every now and then at me, but then look away when I looked.   (I used to get really weirded out and in my head a lot in the past when girls did this to me... I used to think I'd be branded 'creepy' if I kept trying to look at her - but now I realize that it's huge sexual tension and a lot of shy girls look away because they are so attracted they struggle to hide it).

I tried to make conversation with her in Japanese as she couldn't speak any English, but she was super shy.  So I just played mild cocky funny with her to get some 'rises' out of her.  I wanted her to open up.  It worked a little, but as always c/f is a double edged sword, and she also closed up more when I didn't talk to her.  Shy girls take a lot of time to game... and you can't get frustrated or they'll be creeped out.

Chai gave Omega a cat as a present.  The cat was really friendly; when I called it over, it jumped in my lap.  So I began petting it and it began to sleep in my lap.  HBPregnant and Hot were like 'Awww so cute!'.  They said I must be good with animals and asked me if I was a dog or cat person.  (I'm a dog person).  It was a DHV for sure.  HBHot was giving me more 'eye contact' and placing her leg near mine.  She kept kicking mine.

I talked to Hot a little more, she told me about how she works at a Japanese restaurant and makes food there.  We bantered about her work, my work for a little but the conversation was a bit boring.  I know that Hot likes it when I say more cocky funny stuff because she loves to give back just as hard.  Our conversation sort of went from boring to cocky/funny banter.  I kept it light though, I didn't want to validate her too much.  HBShy kept looking my way and looking away.  I smiled at her and so she smiled at me.  I made sure to talk to the other girls so I had just as good a chance with them as Hot.

Chai and HBPregnant announced HBPregnant was pregnant and he was going to be a father.  We congratulated them and everyone except for pregnant had a drink to toast (I guess she used water).

Meanwhile Omega and HBTall were sort of in their own world -- he was struggling with himself whether to game her or not.  Omega told me later that HBTall is super into him, but not from a frame of attraction but a frame of neediness.  HBTall knows that Omega is rich and socially proofed.  She is looking to settle down and wants to hookup with Omega because she wants him to provide for her.  Uh-oh..  She was 'cock-blocking' him from talking to other girls and getting very jealous.  Apparently she didn't even want to invite her friends in the first place, she just wanted to go out with Omega.  Omega was struggling because he was afraid to make HBTall jealous and lose the entire social circle we worked to put together (we were using HBTall to get into her social circle of other Japanese girls.. and she was beginning to recognize it).  At the same time, he knew it was in the bag with HBTall - but he felt she wasn't very attractive to him (ever been in a situation like that before)?

After dinner, we began putting away dishes.  I helped HBHot move some stuff, and then challenged her to a pool match (Omega has a pool table in his house). At first she dismissed the idea, so I called her out on it.  She said she didn't know how to play, but I told her all Vietnamese people know how to play.  That got her laughing -- there's a truism to it.. I don't know how many countless pool sharks I played against in the past but a majority were vietnamese.  Plus, Rowland Heights is notorious for pool players.. and a ton of them are Vietnamese.  So she said she'd 'show me her moves and I'd better watch out'.  God, that's why I love girls who challenge back...

I played soft in the beginning like I always do.. tried not to score too much, every once in a while I'd make an interesting shot which would make her go 'woah'.  But then I'd downplay it.  I kept up cocky funny telling her to compete, which got her to keep jumping through that hoop.  In fact, because I trash-talked to her so much.. it made the game so much more enjoyable... trash talk is really good but has to be calibrated (double edged sword - if you do it too much you are a real jerk).  Everything has to come from a humorous frame.. like you're telling her she sucks but not being serious about it.

When it came down to a couple shots left, I began my run the table routine.  That was fun :).  It made her super worried.  But I balanced it again.. not too much craziness - I wanted to give her a chance but of course I didn't let her beat me (she has to win me over lol).

We played like for a good 15 min.. and had a lot of fun.  That was a good emotional connection routine.  I was able to attract the other girls to come play with us the next round in doubles.  Hot wanted revenge on me, so she paired up with Pregnant.  I paired up with Orange who didn't know how to play at all.  But I didn't care.. I wanted to use Orange to make Hot a bit more jealous.. I kept 'helping' Orange position her cue to stick so she could 'hit better'.  Obviously a lot of kino.

Shy was watching the whole thing.  We had decided earlier we would all have dessert (yogurt) after dinner, so Chai and Omega came in and told us we should get going.  So we all abandoned the game to get yogurt; the girls were really excited for it.  I talked to Shy for a bit, and took some 'sexy pics' of her with a pool stick.  She was excited by the roleplay I was putting her in and I was about to get in her car when HBTall cockblocked me.  OUCH.  WTF.  She probably had been watching stuff go down and noticed Omega was not really into her.. so I guess she had to ruin it for others.  She told me that there wasn't enough room in the other car and tried to convince me to come in Omega's car instead.  In the confusion, logic kicked in for everyone involved and Omega told me to join too.  That sucked.  It's like that expression.. someone bursting your bubble.  Shy was kind of my target for the night.. since I wasn't that much into Orange (she smoked) and I'm putting Hot more on slow game -- want to make her more jealous (since she's like an 8.5).

At the yogurt place, I bantered with Hot and Shy, gave them recommendations on yogurt... Shy was really compliant, she shared her yogurt with me and also had some of my recommendations.  She sat down in a chair I offered for her.  Game was looking good, Shy was coming around.  But Orange decided to cockblock.  WTF.  HBTall also joined in the cockblock fest.  They began talking to each other and trying to shut me out.  Pretty soon Omega joined in and I no longer could game my Shy.. she was too much in conversation with everyone else.  I should have pulled her out - but it didn't come to me at that moment (fuck why do I always think about it after the fact)?  Hot was getting bored and so she decided to take off (I was ignoring her way too much); so Chai and Pregnant also got up to leave.  So everyone got up to leave.

I tried to regame Shy a little but Hot came from behind and gave me a hug.  She wanted to know if I'd come to hang out with her on Saturday.  I just said 'Maybe'.  Shy ran away with Orange and jumped in their car.  Tall and Omega talked for a while before she left, and then I rode home with Omega.  That's when Omega talked to me about all the drama he was having with Tall.

Thoughts
---------

The dinner party was cool.  Logistically though it was horrible.  Omega and I hadn't set ourselves up for success.  That was sort of disappointing because Omega has a PIMP pad - pool table and a huge backyard with view of Rowland Heights.

One main problem we encountered was the amount of cockblock.  We didn't get everyone opened up and talking... groups were sort of divided into cliques.. so that worked sort of against us.  When I'd get really into one girl, another girl would sense it and cockblock.  I think if we had spent more time getting everyone to loosen up and talk to each other at first, we might have succeeded later.

I researched icebreakers for parties today - that's why there's so many posted on my blog at the moment.  When Rufio and I first started gaming, we did a ton of icebreakers which got our social circles REALLY tight knit.  Icebreakers are gold man... it's a true DHV.. you can show you are the leader of men when you know how to bring people together and make them socialize.

I told Omega our next step should really be to have a dinner party every few weeks; kind of like 'Charm's Social Toast' on Sunday.  That way we can bring girls we meet in the field to the dinner party, practice some icebreakers and then use the rooms to our advantage to pull.  We can also number close and invite the girl to a Day2 for clubbing in LA on Friday, Saturday or invite them to a social toast on Sunday.   The dinner party should be 'world themed' and encourage potlucks so that we cut down on cost while promoting creativity.  I mean honestly, there are some good icebreakers below in the stuff I found today.  We could all be eating together but play some fun games that gets everyone talking.

Once everyone is in a higher state, we can play some drinking games and loosen up to a point where isolation can naturally happen instead of getting cockblocked.  People can continue playing games, and every now and then one of us can show the 'view' to our target and get our mack on.

Finally, I was thinking.. and Omega thinks the same.  We gotta just not care about these girls trying to cockblock us.  CLOSE and deal with it afterwards.  If the social circle fucks up, we'll just make a new one - the house isn't going to leave us; if the girls do we'll just meet some new ones and take back to the house.  That's the whole point.. meet girls and get laid as quick as possible..  I waited to k-close HBShy way too long and I missed my window of opportunity - now I have no idea when I'll see her again.  Next time when a girl is high BT, I just gotta do it.

Anyway, looking forward to creating this dinner party thing.. it's going to be awesome!!

Mafia Game

How to Play Mafia

The game of Mafia is about convincing others, about being able to lie believably, and about being able to figure out if other people are lying. It will reveal a lot about players to each other, and works best if the players know a little bit about each other first. It is tremendous fun if the players have a sense of humor.

The setting is a once peaceful town which has been invaded by the dark forces of corruption - the Mafia.

The Mafia's sole purpose is to murder the productive citizens in their bed. They have free reign of the town at night, but by day they appear to be normal citizens.

As a response to these terrible events, the townspeople have hired an Inspector, whose job is to remain disguised while attempting to root our the members of the Mafia.

Game Rules

Game Setup

The game of Mafia is played by an odd number of people. Good numbers are 9, 11, or 13. Players are either townspeople or Mafia. In addition, one of the townspeople is the Inspector. Who plays what is determined at random. One method for determining who is who is to use cards: black cards for the mafia, red cards for townspeople, and the king of hearts for the inspector. Players may not show their cards to others.

The number of Mafia and townspeople can vary, depending on which side is winning more often:

11	4	Mafia
13	3	Townspeople

13	5	Mafia

Starting with 3 Mafia is generally recommended.

Order of Play

The game takes place over the duration of several "days" and "nights". Play begins at the start of the first "day", and proceeds as follows:

1. Everyone discusses who might be in the Mafia. Eventually, a vote is called and the (un)lucky candidate is run out of town (or lynched, or tarred and feathered, or... You get the idea). As they are run out of town (of whatever), the player gets to make one final statement.
   The first person thus removed from play becomes the Moderator
2. Night falls. Everyone goes to sleep (by closing their eyes).
3. The Moderator tells the members of the Mafia to open their eyes. The members of the Mafia then select someone they will murder, by pointing at people until they all agree on one. The Mafia then close their eyes.
4. The Moderator tells the Inspector to open his eyes. This happens even if the Inspector has been killed, or run out of town. The Inspector then points at a suspect. The Moderator nods "yes" if that person in the Mafia, or "no" if they are innocent. The Inspector then closes his eyes.
5. The Moderator announces the coming of the morning, and the name of the luckless victim. Embelishments on the method of death are fun here (Ooh, Jim was found garotted in his Barcalounger!).
6. The townspeople, realizing that their previous council did not root out all the evil, return to step one and play proceeds from there.

Winning Conditions

The game is over when:

• All of the Mafia have been eliminated. The townspeople win
• There are an equal number of townspeople and Mafia at the end of a "day". The Mafia wins

Play Hints

Calling a Vote

During the day, the townspeople get to vote on who to run out of town. At any point during the discussion, someone can call a vote by saying "I vote So-and-So is a Mafia and should be run out of town." If more than half the living players agree, then the elected person is unceremoniously removed from the game. There should always be an odd number of players during the day, so a vote will not end in a deadlock. Voting and debated may become heated. That's where the fun lies!

The First Day

During the first day, members of the Mafia have no information about who's in the Mafia or not. The person to get voted out is pretty random, so it's up to everyone to make a good, convincing first statement that will result in them not being voted out.

Once the first night falls, though, the Mafia will be able to act in a much mure unified way.

The Inspector

The Inspector has no way to prove their role, since players are not allowed to show their cards to one another to prove they are what they say there are. Admitting one is the Inspector can result in a swift death in the middle of the night, unless only one member of the Mafia was left alive.

Jet
-----
Summary and Supplies: Jet is a simple number game that goes around in a circle. The more you drink the harder it gets, so watch out! No supplies needed (except lots of booze!).


The Game:
For the sake of this example, we'll pretend there are ten people in this group. Begin by saying any number from one to nine. If there were eight people, you would choose a number between one and seven, etc. The max number should be one number less than the number of guests, or else it will simply come back to you.


Okay... let's say you choose three. The third person to your right (clockwise) has to say a number. So she says four. The fourth person to her right says a number. Simple, right?


It gets harder. Players can also use negative numbers. So if you say seven and the seventh person to your right says -7, it goes right back to you.


When somebody messes up (by speaking out of turn or not realizing it's their number), they take a drink.


Thumbmaster
------------
Summary and Supplies: This is one of the simplest free beer drinking games you can play. All you need is some friends, booze, and a thumb, and you can play this all through your dinner party.


The Game:
All you need to do to get this fun drinking game started is quickly explain the simple rules. You'll start off as Thumbmaster, and a new Thumbmaster will be assigned as the night goes on. Here is a video explaining how to play the game.





At some point, you will place your thumb on the table. Be discreet about it, or the point will be lost. As people notice your thumb on the table, they must place theirs on the table, too.


The last person to place their thumb on the table must drink (this is a slow game so you can assign a number of drinks if you wish), and is the new Thumbmaster for the next round.


Note: This is one of those free beer drinking games that can be ruined if you overdo it, so it's best to wait a few minutes between rounds. This is a good game to play while playing something else, such as Jet (above).


Word Builder  (I like this one - works well with girls)

Summary and Supplies: This drinking game doesn't require any supplies at all, and though it sounds simple, it's actually pretty hard.


The Game
Begin the game by saying a letter. In this example, we'll have you think of R.


The next player thinks of a word that begins with R (but does not say it aloud) and says the second letter in that word. R, then E (thinking of "Retail").


The next player thinks of a word that begins with RE, and says the third letter. R, E, then L (thinking of "Relax").


Continue this way.


The person who finishes a word must take a drink.


It's easy to cheat (giving letters with no real word in mind), so any player may challenge another player's letter at any time. If the player challenged did not have an appropriate word in mind, they must take a drink. If they did, the incorrect challenger must. Then a new round begins.

"The Rules"

Come up with 5-6 drinking game rules that your party guests must follow during the entire evening. Anybody who breaks a rule has to drink-- it's that simple.


You can come up with any rules you like, but some popular ones are:
-No gesturing with your hands
-No saying names
-No laughing at your own jokes
-No saying a particular word (such as "is")
-"Little Green Man" (Each player must pretend a little green man sits on top of his or her drinking glass, and must politely remove him when drinking and replace him when finished.)

Summary and Supplies: All you need to play this fun drinking game is a light plastic clothes pin. This can be played throughout the evening as part of another game.
The Game:


Give the plastic clothes pin or peg to the first pegger. Their job is to secretly attach the clothes pin to another player without their notice.
The pegger then steps away from the pegged, and begins to count to 10 out loud. All players will search for the peg on their hair and clothes.


If they find the peg before the 10 seconds are up, nobody drinks (you can also choose to punish ineffective pegging by making the pegger drink).


If the peg is not found before that time is up, the pegged must take a shot or finish the rest of his or her drink. They are now the new pegger.


This works best if players wait plenty of time between peggings. It's also fun as the group gets more tipsy-- it gets easy to forget who has the peg!

The Game:
Place a pint-sized glass in the middle of the table.
Spread a deck of cards in a circle around the cup and have your guests sit around it.


The game begins and ends with Kings-- with each King card pulled, the player who pulls that card pours some of his or her drink into the pint cup in the middle of the table.


The person who pulls the last King in the deck must drink what's in the cup. This is especially disgusting is everybody is drinking something different.

Two drinks to the person of your choice


3 - Three for me
Player takes three drinks


4- Four's for Whores 
All ladies take a drink


5- Slap
Upon seeing the five card pulled, all players must hit the table with their hand. The last person to do this drinks.


6- Six is for Dicks
All the guys take a drink


7- Thumbmaster
Whoever pulls a 7 becomes the new Thumbmaster. He or she can sneakily put their thumb on the table whenever they like. All the other players must put theirs on the table, too. The last to do it must drink. Check out this video to see how Thumbmaster is played.


8 - I Never
Say a true statement about something you've never done. All those who have done it must drink.


9 - Rhyme
Say a short sentence. The next player uses a sentence that rhymes with it. This goes around the table til the last person can't think of a rhyme. He or she drinks. (Words can only be used once.)


10- Category 
Choose a category. Each player must choose something within that category. If you can't think of anything, you drink. (Example: chocolate candy bars: Snickers, Twix, Reese's Cups, Milky Way, etc.)


Jack- Rule
Possibly the funnest card in the bunch. When you pull a rule card, you get to make up a rule for the game. Every time the rule is broken, that person must drink. (See Rules Game above for some good rule ideas.)


Queen- Question Master
The person who pulls the Q is Question Master until the next Q is pulled. He or she can ask a question of another player at any time. If that player answers the question, he or she must drink.


King- King's Cup
The first three to pull a King must pour some of their drink into the cup at the middle of the table. The last person to choose it must drink it. The game ends when the last King is pulled.


Ace- Waterfall
Everybody drinks. The player who picked the Ace starts the waterfall. No player can stop drinking until the player before him stops.

Teddy Bear Game (Pretty good for sexualizing)

Summary and Supplies: This isn't really a game-- more a one-off joke. It can't be repeated because it's all about surprise. It's funniest if only the host knows what's going on. All you need to play this is a teddy bear. Poor abused teddy...

The Game

Pass the first player a stuffed animal, such as a teddy bear (bears work best because their shape is vaguely human).

Ask each player to kiss the animal somewhere on its body. If your group of friends is anything like mine, they'll be kissing the bear in some very personal places.

After all players have kissed the bear, instruct them to kiss the person to the left in exactly the same place they kissed the teddy bear.

One of the best funny party games for getting a few laughs, especially if everyone in the group has had a few drinks.

The "Hot Camera" Clean Adult Party Game

Summary and Supplies: This is one of the best adult party game ideas for having fun while recording memories-- the whole thing will be caught on camera. All you need to play this camera version of "hot potato" is a regular camera (digital works best) with a flash and self timer.

The Game

Guests stand or sit in a circle. The first player sets the timer on the camera, then points the camera at him or herself for a moment (the camera should be kept at arm's length). He or she then passes it to the person on the left, who repeats the process until the timer goes off and the camera takes a photograph.

The loser (the person holding the camera when it goes off) must either do a punishment or forefit (think of some funny punishments beforehand, such as "tell a stupid joke," "take a shot," "wear this stupid hat," etc.). 

Then the game begins again.

Don't use your best camera for this party game-- in the rush to get rid of the thing it'll get dropped!

The "New Name" Party Game

Summary and Supplies: This one is a great ongoing game for a dinner party or adult birthday party. Games like this that you can play all night add a real note of fun. All you need are pennies or small red stickers (depending on how you want to play-- details below), white name tag stickers, and a pen to play this adult party game. Ideas for funny names for your guests are important, too!

The Game

Before the party, take some time to make up funny or silly names for each guest. If you're throwing a theme party, use names that fit in which your theme. Write the names out on stickable name tags and give each guest his or her "new name" to wear when they arrive.

Throughout the party (or for a set time-- your choice) guests must use their made-up name when talking about themselves, and all guests must refer to other guests by the name on their nametag (whether speaking to them or about them, they cannot use their acutal names). This can be surprisingly difficult, especially within a group of people who know each other well.

Variations: There are two ways to play this game-- "Measles" or "Pennies." In the highly embarassing measles version, those who make a name mistake are made to wear a red dot-shaped sticker on their face. The person with the most stickers (or measles) at the end of the night loses. In the pennies version, the person who catches another guest saying a forbidden name gets a penny. The person with the most pennies at the end of the night wins.

Note:  This is of a few great adult party game ideas with a lot of variations. For instance, instead of new names, you can make up a list of words beforehand (or have your guests help decide) that are forbidden during the evening. Whenever one of those words is used, the one who catches it is given a penny.
